Real talk

Morning all, what an great day to be alive and and even better day to be in His Will, It has already started off as an crazy day, I had a chance to read a blog today from Jeff McKinney and wow this guy is really good.

The choices were how gritty do I want Prodigal to be,
Whenever I talk about Prodigal I tell people that it is real, yet I did not have any curse words in it at all.
Not a one, and when one of the actors was reading it he added two while cold reading, I cringed every time.

Gritty or safe, real or pretty and a average show that will be seen by a few people that I've talked about  for 6months now..I have to follow my real heart.
When I drive on my night job I get to see the city and it's not pretty at all. It's dangerous, all you have to do is listen to the News in the morning and it will tell you how crazy it is in the "real world"

I have been going to church a long time in my life, I did take a 10 year hiatus and I get it, let's preach hope and joy and all the good things to those that have it all.
But what about that hooker that is on the street walking at 4 am in the morning looking for that one John that may pay enough to support her habit in one act so she doesn't have to be out there all night,
Or what about those young men that watch gangster rappers and  criminals on t.v..
Even if we can reach one of those people that won't go into a church because sometimes church folks just aren't on their level.
Sorry, it is what it is,
I actually have circular friends more in the world  than in the church.  And they are real,, some good ones and some not so good ones, that do what they have to do.
Do we judge them? NO we reach out to them anyway we can.
All my friends knew that I was saved and Loved Jesus, but I never judged them and PREACHED to them, but I worked in Christ the way I was lead and had many thinking about the life choices they make and just by being around them caused them to think and want to change there lifestyles.
So hats off to Mr. Mckinney, for allowing me the chance to grow.
